do you think this would have prevented WWI or was it inevitable?

WWI had been brewing since the 1870s. The Great Powers were expecting it, which is why they mobilized so quickly.

Resurrection of Christ

Historical event, not fairy tale

Ok well I’d check out his crucifixion. Pretty sure that happened.

There was a time when Bill Gates was younger, he borrowed something like $500 from someone. I'd be there with $1000 and ask him for a 5% cut in his future business, with no payback of the $1000.

There’s be a language barrier for most of these. But it’s still be fascinating hearing one of the most notorious demagogues of all time convincing a nation to its doom. I wouldn’t understand the words Alcibiades says, but I could see his body language, hear his voice, see how the crowd reacts.

Truth be told, if any of us went back in time, we’d probably wipe out civilization with the diseases we bring back with us and we might catch bubonic plague

I would like to meet the dude that invented bread. Seriously, how in the hell did someone come up with that?

Also would like to see the Giza groundbreaking ceremony.

'I'd go back and let LBJ know that his Great Society program was a success and turned the Democrat party into the world's largest plantation.'

Nearly to plan. He wouldn't be surprised.

One of Theodore Roosevelt's hunting trips out west. Maybe one of his trips with John Muir.

Or hell, witnessing a Pope and Young hunting trip. Those guys were hardcore.

Pretty amazing that in billions of years of evolution not a single other creature has figured out how to start a fire.

I’d like to be a bystander in the room where the founding fathers were designing and and discussing the Declaration of Independance ... going out on a limb making a country out of thin air and rebelling against the King.
