Sinking of Titanic would be a good one.

Second Wilderness with AK-47s and a bunch of Afrikaaners.

Seriously, though, I think I'd like to witness Gettysburg.

I wouldn't mind going back to the day I was conceived.

OK Corral shootout

Oh, and be on the force with Riggs and Murtaugh back in the 80s.

Assuming I would be both invisible and incorporeal as events transpired and could walk or even float around to see things from any vantage point.

1. Follow Lee Harvey Oswald around all day on 11/22/63.

2. Follow the Zodiac around the in the days leading up to his first murder. Find out who he was and what his life was like outside of his murders.

3. Follow D.B. Cooper around all day when he hijacked a plane and jumped into the night.

4. Be present for the bloodiest gladiator battle ever fought at the Roman Colosseum. Ideally some kind of massive free for all with wild animals running around too.

5. Follow Jimmy Hoffa around the day he disappeared and find out what really happened to him.

6. Witness the fall of the Alamo.

A few come to mind:

Some battles: Teutoburg Forest, Agincourt, Gettysburg, Peleliu.

Spend time with some religious/philosophical/artistic or scientific figures: a few days with Jesus, Buddha, Confucius, Einstein, Van Gogh.

You wouldn't wanna watch your dad pound your mom? Maybe even take some notes. And are the really your parents if you haven't been born yet?

I think most of that would have been miserable.

This is true.

Pardon this entry, Cole Beer, but I'd like to observe Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden from creation through expulsion.

March 13, 1986. The date of Microsoft's IPO, with $25,000 in my pocket.
