I read a study years ago that suggested you use multiple gas stations because each company uses different additives in their gasoline. It suggested to do this to get the best performance.

Spell’s off of Lee Road for my boat (ethanol-free), usually Chevron on 190 for my car due to proximity and ease of access.

Kroger - we spend so much money there I always get at least 50 cents a gallon off.
A tank of gas will last me 3-4 weeks

When I was a youngin’, my father only used shell. And that was a firm rule. One weekend we drove to Houston to visit my half brother and ran out of figgen gas because of his stupid rule. He pushed while I steered at the ripe old age of 7 on i10 in Houston. Since the day I started driving I stop at the nearest. Only rule I have is not to fill up my tank when the station is getting its tanks refilled. Even that is flexible if it’s needed.

In Gonzales, I will either fill up at Murphy’s on Hwy30 or Shell by EAHS.

Circle K... Shell
My ex gf and a couple more people back in 06... sued Raceway on Airline Hwy pass Greenwell Springs because water somehow was in their tanks... got a whole new car out the deal... the gas distributor was at fault
