It will be very easy to switch when you find the driver that looks better than that R5, spins less, launches higher, and carries 285-290. She's out there somewhere

I would think the goal would be to get between 2500-2700 rpm.
so is there a shaft that would help lower spin?
lower spin=more distance?

I've had 2 friends buy that Oban Kiyoshi White. One traded it back in immediately. The other still swings it, but can't hit it honestly. Sucks because that's a lot of money for it not to work out.

Designed by Fujikura Engineers to maximize the energy transfer from the golfer to the club head at impact, this shaft will help you play like a PRO. Through the use of ENSO®, each shaft within this series offers something different depending on your swing type. The Pro 53, 63, and 73 are designed for the golfer looking for a mid-launch and low spin, and the Pro 73 Tour Spec is designed for the stronger swinger who can benefit from a mid to low launch and low spin.
again, now idea what im looking at. just reading descriptions

If P-Ville stands for Pineville, just go to Tee It Up Golf in Alexandria. They'll fit you for free if you buy the shaft and/or driver from them.

without knowing your swing and other variables, it could be a very expensive trial and error

there is no such thing as a magical 15-20 yards. With the ideal swing and numbers for a 100mph swing speed 250 is about as good as it gets.
I have an avg 110 mph ss and my recent trackman session yielded a 276 yrd carry with a driver I was recently fitted for. I also made some swing changes to change my angle of attach from -2.7 to -1.4. The only way I would be able to gain a couple extra yards would be to get my aoa closer to 0. For reference Rory has a +2.7 aoa

Tell me more about their games and why they didn't like it. I've hit it before albeit with an SLDR head that I hated, but it seemed pretty smooth with a good mid trajectory ball flight.

Medtiger,
which callaway adapter do you need? I could probably help you out and get them switched out for you.
