60’s and early 70’s got drug down by the Vietnam War. Later 70’s were more dull only because the war was over and people stopped protesting. I think the 70’s had the edge in music due to the variety. Every type of rock that has existed was big in the 70’s. Just an opinion.

The seventies were a turbulent mess in many ways, but the music was incredible and covered almost every genre, and that was pretty cool.

The 60s and 70s had the best music. The 60s also had assassinations, protests, and Vietnam. The war ended in the early 70s and the rest of the decade was pretty chill and relaxed.
