Which Alt key do you use?

Our keyboards have redundant Shift, Ctrl and Alt keys. Why is that?
I only use the left ones. Seems like a waste of keyboard space.

only left Ctrl, Alt key; both shift keys

I use Alt J because my left hand is free.

I use the left most often but it is to be able to use functions using both hands. The right alt is for the other part of the function using your left hand.
