I hate MCS season.
A few Thursdays ago we got one that dropped 8 inches in 4 hours over Youngsville.

Now the latest HRRR is putting 15 inches over Youngsville. What makes me nervous is the models underperforming like they did in 2016.

Is this normal, nothing to worry about hype or do we have a legitimate chance of flooding?

My lower back started aching yesterday. Is that a good weather indicator that we are going to get pounded by several inches?

Most of the area will only see 3-5" but there is the potential for some 10"+ bullseyes where training thunderstorms occur. Predicting where that will happen is nearly impossible
