I'll remember you said that. Appreciate the added motivation.

no

demographics

all those towns combined don't have the buying power and the disposable income that Katy and the Woodland have individually

this is why those that got a college education and good job offer leave the area and move to Houston,, with our superior culture and all

The fact that your mentioned Perkins between Acadian and college indicates you are incapable of running a business.

Someone could maybe fit a gas station in there though

I've only been to the one in Houston and total size (including parking) seemed comparable to something like building a new casino.

I did. That's interesting, I guess I would have to present an impressive business model to the owners to make it happen.

Your PowerPoint includes breaking glass noises as slide shift right?

You act like I'm talking about bringing a professional football team to BR. A Top Golf would flourish there. What about on Hwy 30 by La'Berge? That could generate a lot of tourist dollars.

I think it would have to be in Gonzales or something

Or somewhere between BR and Nola to get people from both areas

you are a real dream killer Ed. I almost received my MBA from LSU, I'm qualified to make a professional PowerPoint and presentation. I'm glad y'all are giving some good questions to ask myself

Not to mention that Top Golf seems to be built in areas with lots of tourism and/or business conferences.

Im not sure you understand the concept of access to disposable income.

there is not enough of it in the area to validate the risk of capitol.

and now your'e offering competition for the tourist dollar.

Top Golf is certainly not cheap, especially if you are there for a few hours and drinking

There is a strong contingent of disposable income people living in the BR/P-ville that would choose to mix things up and spend $100 at top golf instead of 3rd street or the Casino.

You do realize that people in Nola and Lafayatte hate just about everything about BR.

And people are crazy if they think BR would be on TopGolfs list of places to franchise.

I did it 3 weeks ago in Houston and just for the range time it's very comparable to those around Baton Rouge. Especially if you split it between a couple buddies.

on occasion,, no

but to provide enough customers to not only cover expenses but to produce enough income worth risking the capitol ,,yes.

you need a to have access to a high volume of customers
those customers need to have enough disposable income not just to go, but to waste $$ while there and you need them there fulltime. As I understand it LSU is BR second largest business
having %50 of your potential customers gone for 1/4 of the year cuts into your margins
