Trying to book a vacation in July.....but wanted to avoid the inevitable race riots and occupy this/that/whatever that happen over the summer every 2-4 years.

Epicenter-Season/Year
Minneapolis- Summer 2020
Baton Rouge- Summer 2016
Ferguson/St. Louis- Summer 2014
New York/Wall Street/Brooklyn; Sanford (FL) - Spring and Summer 2012

So basically it happens the summer before every close election....

I think the DNC convention will be the starting point and then it will spread from there.

Nah the goal of the riots is to anger the correct people enough to show up to vote. So it's going to be some kind of police incident involving black people or some kind of mass shooting/attack involving guns.

Glad I'm not the only one that recognizes the correlation between staged riots and the months preceding a major election.

What are you afraid of?

CNN told me that they are fiery, but mostly peaceful.

early odds were on Chicago a couple weeks ago with "George Floyd 2.0"

but then once the actual facts came out, not the biased spin job from the Left (media included), Dexter Reed was also a giant piece of shite who got what he deserved.

Work for a Fortune 100, and they had a cryptic email blast earlier this week telling us to be on the lookout for demonstrations. It was addressed to the entire company (nationwide), but it included zero details re WTF would be the reason.

It's a shade too early for riots. They'll pick another event probably between June 10-August 15.

It will depend on where "the event." Happens.

This year is exciting, because a dark horse candidate for the "event" will be a cop or citizen killing an illegal as opposed to the usual cherry-picking of a cop taking down a black drug dealer.

Huh?

The Alton Sterling situation was absolutely national news, as was the back-to-back cop killings in Dallas and BR.

You serious, Clark? It triggered two terrorists attacks targeting police and a months long media frenzy.

We need to have a conversation if you are seriously considering any of these as a vacation destination

You must have been in a coma that year.

I was in Pittsburgh and those damn protesters were blocking the Squirrel Hill tunnel because of Alton Sterling. Then two radical lunatics decided to start killing cops in Baton Rouge and Dallas.

Oh I know that . No doubt. I just think the DNC Convention is the logical kickoff point. Soros and his type can then go from there. Any black kid or tranny who stubs his toe will be a potential riot.

I wasn't born until 2017...but if CNN reports from BR for a weekend it's not "national news"
