Where to find rapid covid test in BR?

Does anyone know who has rapid tests available in BR? Have a family member that’s been waiting on Alex Box covid test results for a week now. Tired of waiting.

I’m with you on that one. But symptoms haven’t subsided. Doctor wants to wait for test result before doing anything further???

I know a few people who got a rapid test but they had to go to their doctor or an urgent care and they had to have enough symptoms to warrant a rapid test. You can’t get one Just because you came in contact with someone who tested positive.
You mention symptoms so I’m not sure why the doctor wouldn’t have done the rapid. Try calling around to some urgent care centers.

On-Site Medical in Gonzales off Hwy 30 does the 10 minute test. I’ll caution you, my kid tested positive with the swab test @ Alex Box (after a 3 day wait), we then went down to On-Site where we all tested negative. We had him swab tested once again @ Alex Box and he was still positive.
TLDR: trust the swab over rapid tests.

I got a rapid from Lake Urgent Care off 73. Had to schedule a virtual assessment on their website and then they deemed me worthy of getting a rapid which the doctor from the virtual then scheduled. Tested positive on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday sucked and I was miserable, but the fever was gone by Monday and I’m feeling great today.

Who knows? This is my cousin, and he’s an idiot. He wascomplaining about not getting his results, so I told him to try and find a rapid test but I didn’t know who was offering them.

Ask DJT..he said its available everywhere, you just gotta wait 15-30 mins and he is a big fan..but he also said it may be inaccurate but at least you get a test rapidly!
