Made a nice profit. Nothing life changing but I made enough for a few vacations. You guys are making knee jerk reactions. When Napster was done it had changed the game. Same situation here. You've got big companies like google and amazon are looking to develop there own. Why? They can move the market to their preferred form of block chain. One huge benefit of this is cutting down on their credit card transaction fees. To give some reference, we spend about $4k at my place a work every four weeks on credit card fees.

I bet those fees arent calculated into the prices the customer pays at all

So they shouldn't try to cut costs with an opportunity that is right in front of them? They've stated they are just waiting for demand to develop.

I bet they couldn’t cut out their fees and charge the same thus making more.
Or cut prices and attract more customers.

Talking about 4k at your store. It may show as a cost on your P&L, but in no way is the company covering that

Basic business principles are not welcomed in this thread sir

Why would we not want to cut that cost and try to put as much of that $4k as we could in the bank?

Yea I understand how business works. Im framing this as it does not help the consumer at all if a company accepts crypto vs traditional payment

It’s not either or. More payment choices are mutually beneficial. Opens up the business to more customers and allows the consumer more choice.

A lot more one sided for the business, especially in the US where the dollar will always be the base currency

Eh. It’d be the same as if they accepted your dog turds as currency. Giving me another payment option still helps me even though the business is definitely benefitting greatly from it.

Tiptoe, through the tulips

quote:Those who don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.
As word spread that one could make ridiculous sums of money simply by buying and selling the bulbs, prices skyrocketed even higher. According to the BBC, in 1633 a single bulb of Semper Augustus was worth 5,500 guilders. 4 years later in 1637, the sum had nearly doubled to 10,000 guilders.
You may be wondering what a guilder is—the guilder was the Dutch currency up until the adoption of the Euro. Having said that, to put the above numbers into perspective, according to Mike Dash who wrote Tulipomania: The Story of the World’s Most Coveted Flower and the Extraordinary Passions It Aroused, “It was enough to feed, clothe and house a whole Dutch family for half a lifetime, or sufficient to purchase one of the grandest homes on the most fashionable canal in Amsterdam for cash, complete with a coach house and an 80-ft (25-m) garden – and this at a time when homes in that city were as expensive as property anywhere in the world."

Trx is still up like 1100% in the last 90 days.
It's a garbage coin.

Everyone ruined bitcoin when they took down the Original Silk Road.
Bitcoin was more of a token than actual currency.
Was able to get the shite I needed. But you simple fricks had to make it mainstream.
