Are all 50 states shut down? I'm up for a road trip and a sit down restaurant meal.

Theres outdoor seating at several places but you have to get your food to go and pretty much wait on yourself.

Where is this? You can’t even get food to-go and eat in a wide open park over here.

For real, even the park benches around me have caution tape draped over them

I was in Ruston yesterday and was kinda shocked that I could still go inside restaurants

You are not allowed to even get out of your car here in Shreveport

Where?

Also all the gas stations that serve PO boys and fried chicken have picnic tables set up outside.

I went pick up dinner at taceaux loceaux last night, went inside to get my order and even got a Margarita to go.

Did the same at Midway Pizza the night before.

The only place I’ve been where I didn’t get out my truck was Elios. Which is my neighborhood liquor store. They even call you to get your credit card

Every other restaurant was either letting people in or they brought the order to the door but they would absolutely bring it to your vehicle if you didn’t want to get out.

That’s the only place I’ve heard of it. Can still go into restaurants here in Lafayette. One place was advertising outdoor seating this weekend for brunch. I don’t know what that’s all about because I didn’t check it out, but I’m keeping my eyes open for that this weekend.

This is pure government stupidity. It reminds me of when Obama's Parks department put up barricades and partitions to block views of scenic sights in open air parks during a government shut down.

My local mex/marg spot has had regulars ordering "takeout" but sitting on the back of their open SUV trunk. Probably not technically allowed by the powers that be, but .. meh.

Some of the regulars are "helping" work the drive-thru which I imagine is for show in case ABC or whoever else drives by.

Most places in BR are making you stay in your car, but I'm sure not all. I haven't been anywhere to do the legwork.

I've gone inside of several to grab takeout. No eating inside obviously.

You should drive around the block sit down at your own table outside and have someone like dominoes bring food to you. Or even Uber. It is really amazing.

Here where I am working in the Denver area you must stay in your car. There are even signs that say you must be in your car to go through drive-thru. No walkups. And no pickups either. Dining rooms are closed. If no drive-thru they will bring to your car.
