Not going to make Tuesdays launch, but this is on the bucket list. Maybe next one.
US side? Mexico side?
Beach? Bar? Sideline suites?

Look at the videos. Mexico was best last time.

If you go to S. Padre, there are catamaran captains that will bring you close enough for a great water view. But make sure visibility will be good while you're there.
2 launches ago I was in a condo on the TX side during takeoff. Couldn't see shite, but just the power and shaking of the building was incredible to feel.

Grok says:

The best place to watch a Starship launch in person is widely considered to be:
Isla Blanca Park on South Padre Island: This location offers an excellent view across the bay from the SpaceX Starbase at Boca Chica. It's popular among both locals and tourists for its proximity to the launch site, providing an unobstructed view of the rocket's ascent. The park often fills up quickly for launch events, so arriving early is advisable.
From the Beach in Mexico (Playa Bagdad, Matamoros): Just across the border, this spot has been mentioned as an incredible location due to its angle and proximity to the launch site, offering a unique perspective of the Starship's trajectory.
General Considerations:
Highway 48: Offers viewing spots, but be aware of potential traffic and construction from nearby LNG facilities.
Long Island Village in Port Isabel: While access might be more limited, it provides some of the closest views if you can secure a spot there or at nearby accommodations with views.
For those interested in experiencing the launch:
Plan for potential delays or scrubs; SpaceX often iterates rapidly with their testing schedules.
Check local and SpaceX updates for the latest on launch times as they can shift.
Consider staying nearby or booking accommodations with a view or quick access to viewing areas for multiple days, as launches can be postponed.
These insights are based on community feedback, discussions on platforms like X, and general advice for launch viewing in the Boca Chica area.

I went to a launch a couple months ago and it was underwhelming, because I did not get close enough. Traffic stopped about 7-8 miles west of the launch site and there were some low clouds. When it happened , we could finally hear the roar, but the rocket was already several miles in the air. Speed of sound being far less than light causes that.
Get close..........
Get close..........

US Side- booking a hotel on South Padre Island on one of the higher floors with a view to the south, or watching from the Raptor Roost (southwest of the launch site) or book tickets on one of the boats that can get you up close as well
Mexico side- great views, but you are an IDIOT if you go to Matamoros as that is all cartel country over there. Only go there if you want to leave in a body bag.
