Yeah kayaking with the whales sounds pretty awesome.

As a general question to all, what's stopping you from moving there now instead of waiting for a proverbial retirement? More of a hypothetical than practical question I know.

Spent my childhood going there during summers and winters to ski. Truly is amazing. Spent alot of time on the Idaho side of the Tetons as well and perfer that to JH.

Was there 3 weeks ago.

I'm not sure yet. I like BVI a lot and I could see myself on the hillside overlooking Cane Garden Bay. I like those islands because it is so easy to island hop there. St. John, Tortola, Jost, Anegada, Peter Island, Virgin Gorda, etc.

I guess I could also retire to Lake Crescent, which is basically surrounded by Olympic National Park and only has like 5 houses on the entire lake

Yup. I chose JVD to be close to the Soggy Dollar and Foxy's. That's my kind of paradise
