Just a thought: call the Josephine Estelle restaurant in the Ace Hotel. Maybe they can provide it.

Within an easy walk, the only place that comes to mind is Mulates. It's overall a pretty crappy tourist trap place, but they will probably have decent crawfish.

Just kidding. So I wouldn't say the Warehouse District/CBD is the best place to get crawfish. In fact I can't think of anything that close that would have it. And most would be closer to the FQ with tourist prices....re: insane prices. Places like Acme, etc.

I'm sorry that's not more helpful I just don't think a lot of places in that area will have boiled crawfish.

I think your best bet is taking an Uber or Streetcar to a different neighborhood, like MidCity, and going to a place like Bevi or Clesi's, or Bayou Beer Garden on the weekends, etc.

Or heading uptown to a bar like Tracey's when they have them.

Try the ace hole, might get in easier if you tip the concierge a little extra.

Dope. I kind of figured that’d be the case. Maybe I’ll just go to Bevis. Y’all think ace would be upset if I brought 5lbs back to eat in my room?

They probably wouldn't love it

I mean Bevi is a cool spot you can just eat it there.

Or, if its on the weekend, Bayou Beer/Wine Garden has crawfish. Just go there, chill outside in the nice weather, drink a bucket of beers.

Rouses is the only non-tourist trap option in walking distance. Use crawfish app to find best/cheapest place to uber for best option. Most if not all of the breweries (most are UPT) have them frequently as well that won't show up on the app, check their social media pages for which days. Miel, Urban South are Uber bikeable. Can't go wrong with Bevi though.

Yea, weird spot and request. I’ve just been delayed traveling all day and it’s looking like I won’t make it in until 8 or 9pm. Sucks. That’s why I asked for something nearby.
