That's how it was with my mama and her fly swatter. She'd take it to your legs, it got the point across well enough,

I know what you mean for packing in a suiter roll a board. I got some on Amazon that look like dry cleaners thin hangers but are stainless steal or something close to it. Great thing about them is they pack flat. When I check in to the hotel for a week I hang all my shirts in the shower with the hot water running for 20 minutes. If you use the wood ones in the hotel room they will sometimes get wet from the steam and leave a mark on your shirt.

Went to a dry cleaners and asked the teenage girls behind the counter if I could buy 10. They looked confused and told me no. They didn't have any recycling ones. I'm sure the owner or an adult would have gladly sold me 10 hangers.

I looked at Amazon, but I don't need 100 of the things, plus it's difficult to tell from the pictures if they're the thin, cheap kind.

Anyway, I put a message on Nextdoor and a neighbor left a pile of them on her porch for me.

Little known fact. Dixie Hanger Company made metal coat hangers for many years (approximately late 30's to late 60's) in the French Quarter in the building on the corner of Chartres and St Phillip.

Amazon "metal hangers" multiple options, not sure what else you need. 50 packs, 8 pack and 10 pack all come up.
