What about Florida State Charles? Had a really strange voice and used to call Ott's show quite a bit. Actually I think he switched his allegiance to various teams when he called

Glad to hear that Smitty and Zuke are doing well.

Anyone have a Mike Toole update? He was the LSU "Superfan" for basketball games in the mid-90's (doing the tomohawk chop) and also deadlifted a crazy amount of weight at the rec, while cutting a wrestling promo in the mirror between sets. I hope he is doing well. I think he was a math major.

What about Jim Nasium from Z98? I think I heard he passed away...

Or JR in the Morning with his wife Suzie Q, I think?

For that matter what is Andrea Clesi doing with herself these days? While we are on WBRZ TV, what did Mahaffey do in retirement? Heard he spent a ton of time in underpass bars but what else?

Also...WTF is Bobby Jindal actually doing right now?

Zuke is Adam Perrys older brother. Adam played on the OL for Dinardo.

Damn Pat Shingleton has to be pressing 80 years ?

Idk about that but the dude seems ageless

Saw him partying his dick off at St Paddy's day in March. Pretty sure he's in charge of the parade.

This was a post from his mother in 2011..

quote:

I'm Mike Toole's mother. A friend told me about all the talk of Mike. I tried to get Mike to reply but he is too fearful. He does have aspergers. He now lives in Metairie near the Saints and Zephyr field. He works for the Zephyrs when they are in town. He keeps statistics on the players and uploads it to a company that collects stats on players. He got a degree in Mathematics from LSU and has done post-grad work at UNO in education and broadcasting. He would like to be a sports broadcaster but hasn't had any luck getting a job in that field. Thank all of you for remembering Mike. He loves LSU and he loved reading all that you all remembered about him. Thank you all and God bless you.

Before the Statue of Liberty or the dancing noodle, there was the guy on South Foster and Prescott.

Rocking on the roadside.
