About a month ago I took my son to register for Selective Service.

that was done in high school in my day and age, is that still not a thing?

“We’ve been down and back….
To the post office…
You have to do the same….
At the post office…
All you do is sign…
So don’t get nervous ….
Just sign your name
For selective service…”

The words may not be exact, but I remember that jingle from my pre-18 days.

Hardly ever. I schedule all my package pickups online and they pick them up at my front door.

Most all post offices in my area are full of DEI hire females with shite attitudes.

A week ago I went to ask the postal clerk to verify that a package was delivered at the mailbox. FIL forgot he received a slim package a week before and was sure it was never delivered. And, I will be mailing a small packaged baby gift today.

Been so long I really can't remember the last time I set foot in a P.O. building.

I buy my stamps at Costco, pay my household expenses on-line every month with the exception of 2-3 bills I write checks for, and they get clipped to my mailbox for the postal worker to take when they deliver my mail.

In the N.O. area the Post Office closed down their drive-up boxes to drop off mail 2-3 years ago and that requires you to go inside the building to drop off mail, so it's been at least that long since I've been to one.
