This. I can see how they would be delicious if someone did a great job, but I've never had one where they did a great job. It's always a great idea with poor execution. On the other hand, I've eaten donuts that made me see God.

It's been more than 10 years I would say...

There is nothing in the world greater than a fresh, hot glazed donut. I grew up eating Southern Maid in Shreveport (greatest donut in the world) and then discovered Mary Lee when I was at LSU. We always looked for the "hot product" sign on the Mary Lee off campus (RIP).

And there is no greater travesty in the world than a Krispy Kreme donut. Donuts are sacred, and should be made by the hand of man, not by machine.
