Yes, I usually do if its at a place that doesn't have LSU gear being worn often.

I'm with you, man. When I'm home - Katy/ BTR - I see someone wearing LSU, I expect it. My neighbors across street here in Katy didn't bat an eye when they first saw our vehicles...they had LSU shite on theirs and have lived here 20 years.
LSU flags all over my hood in ftball season.
Not unusual here at all.
Saw some dudes at LAX years ago (90s) and we had a beer and hung out during lay over, cuz they wore LSU gear and I had a hat.

Last month I was in Vienna, Austria wearing an LSU shirt.....while crossing a bridge in the rain, someone said "Geaux Tigers"!.....so yeah, I know SOME folks do!

Funniest thing that happened to me was about 2 years ago we were in Wyoming and I saw a boy about 10 years old wearing an LSU shirt. I gave him a Geaux Tigers and his mother hears it. She says " excuse me but you are the 3rd person to tell him that. What does that mean?" I tell her and she says they were in a mall somewhere, the kid wanted a purple shirt so they bought it for him.
Hopefully, I did my part to make a fan for life.

I usually just give them a nod. When people say it to me I just wave back normally.

Depends how trashy they look.

LSU Fan...here's a PSA...No one gives a shite.
Stop wearing head to toe purple and gold every time you get on a plane. It's embarrassing. It's freaking July.
Usually the Visor wearing, Toonces crowd is sporting this look in this scenario the most. Keep the purple and gold crocs at home T-Boy.

I don't in Louisiana, East Texas, or the gulf coast from the Pearl River to Destin, but I do when I'm out of that region.

Pretty much every time I'm out of the south. Most of the time I'm in a non vacation area in the south where you wouldn't expect to see them.

Yes, almost always.
Usually involves a quick, "Where you from?/Where you from?"
But occasionally it takes an odd turn. Like the native Georgian who'd never been to LSU, just grew with a friend who was a big fan and converted him.
One time we saw a guy decked out in hat & jacket at the huge wine fest in Bad Durkheim, Germany. We gave him the standard Geaux Tigers, only to learn that he was Dutch, and had never been to Louisiana. His family hosted an American exchange student from Louisiana when he was in school, and the kid got him hooked on LSU, even though it had been 20 years since then. It was a dream of his to take his family one day to see LSU.

Depends on whether they look trashy.
If they obviously bought their T-shirt from WalMart, I make fun of them.
