I've never came up on a wreck that didn't already have people there. I have seen a few bodies sprawled across the pavement, and that is something that sticks with you almost every time you get in the car. I used to not wear a seat belt, now I always do.

If there aren't other people out already helping than yes.

My dad was passed by a speeding car on Joor Rd in Central years ago and he came up on the car wrapped around a tree. 2 of the 4 were already dead, one partially decapitated. He pulled the survivers out, one severely injured, and waited for an ambulance. He said it was pretty tough to see a bunch of 16-17 year olds like that with kids of his own slightly younger at home.

Nope. Got stuff to do, places to be, sloots to bang. Not trying to somehow get caught in a lawsuit

Of course I do, if I see the wreck happen and nobody else has stopped before me. In college I even got to break a window open with a tire iron for some drunk park view kids on airline which is always fun

No fricking way. Let the cops and the paramedics handle it. I don't need someone looking for a scapegoat and a payday on my arse if someone in that car dies and I touched them. Besides, helping someone who got themselves in a wreck is directly counter to my philosophy that bad driving should be more lethal.

Fifteen years of driving on the same roads as the dumbfricks who were born in this city hardens a man's heart.

Nope. I very precisely know my stance.

Also, I didn't upvote myself. I will now though, so I have at least TWO.

Drive safe now, ya' hear?

I have been a rural road and come upon a flipped over car on the roof on two different occasions with no other cars in the area.

One was empty and nobody around so I left. The other one had a unconscious guy all up against the dash and windshield. No way I could open a door and he did not respond to "HEY DUDE YOU ALL RIGHT". Called 911 and left when another couple of cars stopped

Was driving back to college on a Sunday night in a rural area when I saw headlights out in the woods, and they were vertical. WTF? Backed up, and two dudes came hopping and crawling out of the woods. They said it was a brand new Nissan Z car.

One dude’s leg was messed up, and there were no cell phones then. No neighbors near. I let them in the truck, and it was tricky getting the busted leg guy in, and drove them to the home of the town marshal in the nearest shithole. I knew him a little and knew where he lived. He called for an ambulance.

I was worried they would gin up some bullshite lawsuit against me re loading the guy with his leg. The marshal told me, as they were loading them up, to get the hell out of there, and he would say he didn’t know who I was. Never heard anything else about it.

I would absolutely stop to help if the situation warranted. I would hope for the same if I was a victim.
