When you go bankrupt in Dubai you flee leaving your supercar behind

Apparently UAE lacks bankruptcy protection laws and often sends debtors to prison. To escape prison time, debtors flee the country often leaving their possessions behind. Supercars will sit on the streets of Dubai for years, wasting away...

FTR, many of these pictures are just taken after a sand storm which makes it appear they've been sitting around forever. The premise is true, but not all of these cars have been abandoned.

I included it because I thought it was a good visual with the cover being torn off

This. They are usually ticketed and if the owner doesn't appear in court then the car is impounded and auctioned. If you've ever been to the Middle East, then you know that after a sandstorm every car looks pretty much like this.

We should definitely consider bringing debtors' prison back to America.

It's fine, but it definitely sticks out like a sore thumb amongst Ferraris and whatnot.

The last thing this country needs is more non-violent inmates crowding our prisons anymore.

Just seize everything they have to pay their debts. Don't put the burden of paying for them in jail on the taxpayers.

1. Go to Dubai.
2. Buy a tow truck and several seacans.
3. Ship to US.
4. Profit.. and get laid.
