k what?

I just find it funny that some of you yoyos think that what you wear in your free time is a reflection of your job status.

I hadn't owned cargo shorts for years until I got some Columbia ones last year. They are great.

It's not necessarily, and I didn't expressly state that it was. That's your misinterpretation.

Cargo Socks.

A nice tight fighting calf high sock with lots of exterior pockets for gadgets, extra shoe strings, more bullets for your assault rifle, a condom just in case, places to hide womens digits etc.

Ah, maybe it was the other knucklehead. One thing I came to realize in brief travels to London and other parts of Europe is that Americans are not "stylish" at all. But that's okay, they can have their skinny jeans, while we win two world wars and invent the modern world. Why do you hate America so much?

Absolutely not. I grew out of the "arrgghh cargo shorts" mindset when I was in a phrat in undergrad, and as such, I guess I realize the mental limitations of people who let things like that bother them.

As opposed to boxy untailored suits that make you look like you borrowed your big brother's suit for a wedding?

As opposed to looking like a kid whose mama made him wear a suit he's outgrown for another year?

I can see having a slim-fit suit for social occasions if that's your thing, but if you work in a suit all day you need a more comfortable/classic fit.

As far as cargos vs flat front - I wear flat front when appearance is important. I wear cargos when I DGAF, which is most of the time.

When event places (concerts, football games, etc.) start letting women bring in purses again. A guy can usually fit what they need in one pocket. Add the total contents of a woman's purse and you have bulging pockets. Not to mention you have to fumble through all kinds of shite to find what you need. Cargos just make carrying all that shite easier.

I wouldn't wear them to church or if I was going out for the evening. But they have their uses.

No. As opposed to a well-fitting, tailored suit.

I wear my suits for business. They are comfortable. That's because they fit me.

I'm not. I rock cargos every now and then. That's just the only use I have for the "utility" portion of cargo shorts.
