So you send you friend nudes of yourself so he has something to jerk off to?

You can send a letter across the country for less than 50 cents. That's a deal.

Today. Most of our business correspondence is still snail mail.

I remember when stamp prices would go up, it was a big deal. Up until 8-10 years ago, I use to go to the post office every two or three months to get stamps. The USPS funds itself right or at least it use to? I don't see how it is able to finance itself now.. Even with raising the price of stamps..

Taxes last month
I don't mean things like taxes or monthly payments, I am talking about sending something to individuals.

I sent a return to Carhart last week via USPS. What's your point?

Today at work. Like I do a lot of days.

I don't mean things like returns or anything business related. I am talking about mailing something to another individual. A letter or some type of invite.. Something specifically to another individual.

I haven't paid HOA dues the last two years because they don't take credit card or online bill pay, only take checks in the mail to a P.O. Box.
Oh well, frick 'em. As like most HOA's mine isn't worth shite.
I have to mail mine in too. Do you know what they do if you don't pay your dues? They place a lien on your property. It says that, I would put money on it, in your HOA paperwork.

Hey, another 'who still uses cash?' thread.

I'm pretty sure that I read an article a while back that said that the USPS loses a LOT of money every year. It was quite a while ago though, so I don't remember the exact details and the numbers certainly wouldn't be exactly accurate anymore.

In that case, maybe once a year. Everything else is fax or email/text/website

I went to efile something in federal court today for the first time in years, and in order to update my email address to get a new password, I had to physically mail a letter with my new contact info to the court. The clerk told me it was a local rule. I looked up the rule and it said I could inform by email or "online," but apparently that is too year-2000 for this court.
I also mailed a 7004 extension of time to file 1120S. Also not available to efile unless you pay a service (not TurboTax), which I refuse to do out of principle.
There is almost zero reason for people to be using mail to communicate these days.
Eta: except thank you notes I guess. But that should go too, soon. Just put a stack of those in the mailbox, and I watched the fe-mailman drive right past the box because someone had parked in front of it on a Saturday. Do yo job!
And stay off my lawn.

Last week I mailed the title of a trailer to a guy that bought it from me.
