I just prepared an envelop for something I need to mail to someone. I rarely have to send something in the mail, but I don't know the last time I sent an individual something in the mail. Anyone else haven't mailed someone something in a long time?

Every time you get married you have to send out real mark invitations. So that sucks.

I send Thank You notes all of the time via snail mail. Customers love it.

The price of stamps is criminal. I refuse to support the dysfunctional USPS

I haven't paid HOA dues the last two years because they don't take credit card or online bill pay, only take checks in the mail to a P.O. Box.
Oh well, frick 'em. As like most HOA's mine isn't worth shite.

I use USPS all the time.
they insure.
they have computers to track with.
its less money than the UPS & FED EX brands.
and no one ever lost anything of mine. not FED EX, NOT UPS, and not the USPS.
I never had to even make a claim. and I still insure valued goods. its a fraction of the hassle and cost to replace.

The HOA will prevail in the end, they usually have the right to place a lien on your house for non-payment of dues, you may not even discover it until you try to sell the house.

Sent a Polaroid of my gooch to a friend in Salt Lake. I miss the good old days of random taint bombing an acquaintance via the US mail.

Consider yourself lucky.
I have to redeliver mail about once a month. And I've seen all three carriers lose or damage packages.

I have a car loan through a credit union. They gave me a great rate, but they are kind of antiquated and don't have online pay. I send them snail mail every month for the payment.

It is definitely a first world problem when you have to send payment to someone/a company on a regular basis and they don't accept credit cards or payments online.
My utility bill use to be the only payment I had to send in the mail, but about a year ago they finally started accepting payments online...
