I'd love to know where that came from.
Because when the uninsured motorist that hit you sues and you've moved your vehicle before official reports are taken, you're fricked.

Hahaha OK man. You keep believing that everyone is doing their job and that things aren’t that bad here. Everyone is great. We don’t need to improve as a state.

NOW THIS IS THE ANSWER I WAS LOOKING FOR. I had a feeling something along these lines was true and I can 100% believe what you just said. That makes so much sense. The reporting process must be done on the side of the highway. That’s gotta be some law about moving before the report is done.

Unless it's a bad accident, they should ticket people who don't move their vehicles (if they are able to be moved)
I've yelled at people for not moving their simple accident to the side.
They're like, we need to wait for the police so they can see this.
bullshite you idiot. Hop out, take a few quick pics and a video and move your fricking car.

the accident is now pushing 1 hour and 40 minutes total. Still haven’t attempted to open two lanes to make the traffic flow a little better.
The queue from this incident hasn't even reached a quarter mile in the entire time Lane 2 has been shut down.

People are afraid to move their cars because people lie about how the accident happened and my insurance gets dinged and goes up. Then I get a call from Gordon.

Well I am speaking from a position of knowledge on the matter.
You are admittedly just a guy that travels the state.

So long story short, the problem lies within the people? They don’t care what others have to deal with as long as they are getting their compensation.

I just used this accident as an example. Saturday night on the way back to Lafayette from Br we sat parked on I-10 on the basin for 2 hours. Motors all turned off. It was ridiculous. At 1 a.m

Maybe... but add way^2 more people going way^2 more places. Result = ATL being different level of traffic Hell.

I did that today. And blew the horn at the morons who didn’t go around the wreck when the light turned green.

That’s why I always leave a little gap so if the jackass in front of me doesn’t go I can try to go around them and the wreck all together.

For bad accidents they have to mark everything and investigate.
Anything involving an 18-wheeler usually stays put until it's cleared. It's hard to work around something that large safely on the shoulder while drivers are rubbernecking to see the scene or zipping by with no regard.

Every wreck in Louisiana has an injury now. People cannot wait to get that lawsuit money. Everyone can wait in traffic and eat shite. They cannot move their car until the cops and attorneys get their to take pictures.
