When selling a house does the surround sound system stay with the house?

My mom is selling her house so she can downsize after my dad passed a few years ago and my brother and I both have our own homes & families. My dad had set up a really nice surround sound system in a game room / play room above the garage.
The front of the system has two tower speakers standing on each side of the tv and center speaker sitting on a shelf under the tv. The back speakers are recessed into the ceiling. The front of the system looks similar to this.
And the rear speakers look similar to this
Does the entire system stay with the house or just the rear speakers? As far as I know the agreement doesn’t specifically say either way

Typically, attached stuff stays, unattached stuff goes.
But, it's all negotiable.

If they don’t specifically say they have to stay in the agreement then you can take them with you (but you’ll have to patch the holes in the roof and they will have to give the OK on the work) Should’ve mentioned it prior to showings though to make it easier on yourself
ETA: This far in I doubt some old speakers will affect the sale either way

It probably doesn't matter. I'd leave the recessed speakers and take everything else if it were me.

Negotiable, but the general rule of thumb is that if its built in, it stays, none of that except the in-ceiling rear surrounds appear as a built-in, so assumption would be no, though something like that could be a point of negotiation from the buyer.

Take the TV and leave the speakers and amp. There are cheaper, smaller and more efficient surround sound features these days.

Is the house being sold as is? Will all the furniture be staying? Either way, I doubt they bought the home just for the surround sound, so I would take it.

I would definitely leave the recessed speakers.
If she doesn’t want the other stuff, you could offer to sell the rest to the buyer.

well you need to ask the agent if it was part of the deal, a simple phone call is all it takes.
either way, common sense says the ceiling speakers should be left or you will have to patch and paint the ceilings if you remove them.
if the system is over 5 years old why bother with it at all and just leave it, im sure its pretty outdated and any new system would be a huge upgrade over an older system

In the big scope of things that is some dated technology and probably not worth the hassle of installation with the new home. Have smaller sound systems that put out just as much wattage now as those big ones used too.

Well, the power amp/preamp isn't shown. The Polks could be left behind and its no loss.

This.
I don’t think the new owners would want holes in the ceiling.
