it is followed by a grossly oversimplified, if not incorrect statement what percentage of the time?
I'd say 75%.

I hate this too. I usually start by saying, "see, da prollem is..."

What about when someone begins by saying "see, the thing about it is..." That's even worse.

The problem is posters that start shitty threads.

What about people that say, "if you will"
Example: "there's been a lot of rain in the New Orleans area if you will"
Hijack

The problem with run on sentences is that they are difficult to follow.

Better than the idiots and SJW baby back bitches that start a sentence with 'so,'.

I dislike "in today's society..."

Spot on.
They usually are lower to mid-level managers that don't know when to be quiet in meetings.
The people that start sentences with "look" or "listen" are equally foolish.

I'm not a big fan of "To be or not to be..." Usually that's a signal you're going to be hit up for money or borrowing your car or something.

My father in law starts almost every sentence with that phrase. He's also a very miserable person to be around.

Don´t all sentences in this country start with ´So,´?
