Cancer is such a horrible disease. Prayers for you both!

Trust in God. He will not abandon you.

A few years back my daughter had a major surgery. I remember sitting in the hospital with her and she said let’s say things we are thankful for. Her level of faith and strength floored me.

It’s easy for me to say but the lord says in all things give thanks. The lord works in mysterious ways. He may have put you in this position to show your faith to a non believer to bring them to Christ.

I understand all of this is easy for me to say but I will be praying.

I will be praying. This verse has helped me before.

Isaiah 57:1-2 Good people pass away;
the godly often die before their time.
But no one seems to care or wonder why.
No one seems to understand
that God is protecting them from the evil to come.

Hate to hear that and I cannot come close to imagining what you and your fiance are feeling.
