When does virtual reality pass the point of being virtual and become “real”

As technology increases we will be able to relive downloaded memories from our parents, feel what they felt, think what they thought, see what they saw, maybe even eat and drink what they did while plugged into a nutrient feeding contraption (ala the matrix)
Maybe within 30 years.
At what point is it real? In the above scenario, you would be fully experiencing real events.
I mean, who doesn’t want to experience their own conception?

How do you figure? We can already transfer memories? And some have proven to be able to be downloaded even today.

When we figure out how to connect straight into our neuro receptors. I can't wait. Hopefully im rich by then so I can afford it.
