Tony Timpa death was far worse than this. And the dept covered it up for years
quote:.
Tony Timpa wailed and pleaded for help more than 30 times as Dallas police officers pinned his shoulders, knees and neck to the ground.
“You’re gonna kill me! You’re gonna kill me! You’re gonna kill me!”
After Timpa fell unconscious, the officers who had him in handcuffs assumed he was asleep and didn’t confirm that he was breathing or feel for a pulse.
As precious minutes passed, the officers laughed and joked about waking Timpa up for school and making him waffles for breakfast

Here's the thing....there is a difference between bodycam video and witness video.
Bodycam video can stay unknown for awhile.
Witness video is uploaded immediately, like in the MN case or in the Walter Scott shooting in Charleston some years back. Thus, the immediate backlash.

The body cam became public and charges and arrests of the officers still hadn’t been made....

Also, in case y’all were wondering, these officers actually NEVER GOT CHARGED.....
So, um, yeh....Floyd has already gotten more justice with the arrest of the officer

Damn, thanks for sharing. That is also extremely fricked up. He was already handcuffed, they were even able to tie his feet up, yet they still felt the need to pin him down for 14 minutes as the video says.
Hope some charges can be brought up eventually, but I'm not holding out my breath for it.
