34 going on 35 and feeling like I maxed out in life. Don’t see career heading to greener pastures, don’t see my fitness improving a lot, just burnt out from many things. This just a man thing? How do you deal with it?

Damn dude, 35 was great for me. Wait until you hit your 50’s…

ETA: You may want to change your scenery.

I dont know. Between two kids, a wife, work, hunting, and a few other hobbies I don't have time to think about it. I think thats the route to go. Don't give yourself much time to reflect on it until you are much older.

Jesus...you feel you've maxed out at 35?

You need to set bigger goals for yourself.

I'm hearing a lot of "me, me, me". Maybe start living for others. Living selfishly will never amount to a fulfilling life.

Do you have kids? Enjoy helping them and watching them prosper.

Are you married? If so, don't worry. Statistics show you'll be divorcing around 40 and starting life all over.

You’re focused on the wrong thing. I’m 64 and am stronger in some areas than I ever was. Physically, Mother Nature wins in the end. Quit focusing on physical and material things. Talk to older people who have been in your shoes. Life after 40 is not like life after 40.

Financially, I’ve saved more in my 50’s than in the entire rest of my life. I contribute that to becoming debt free.

Get yourself right spiritually. Everything else will fall into place.

Fair point but I didn’t let that influence how I felt about my life then or now.

Everyone has their ups and downs, life’s like a roller coaster, just have to hold on and enjoy the ride.

I'm trying to start a career over at 39 and it's rough.

I feel like I wasted my youth and have nothing to show for it.

Although I am 5 chapters into a novel, so there's that

Ive thought multiple times that I maxed out and then things get better. At 35 I wouldnt accept that this is as good as it gets. You never know whats waiting for you.

The economy is up and down and up and down. Either you adapt, and constantly improve yourself, or you get left behind.

Life is really good for those that embrace it, constantly work to improve, and have a strong sense of purpose, and a good attitude. I guess it kinda sucks for those that feel like a victim all the time.

I actually understand this and felt I hit my max in my late 20’s. Lots of ups and downs since then but I’m still pushing forward.

Some articles I write are terrible.

Some are pretty good.

My philosophy is to try and do the next right thing, and the rest will sort itself out.

Yeah I'm not playing the options game. I seek out dividend stocks when they're down and then just reinvest the dividends.
