In the late 80's, we grew up with pterodactyl, triceratops, stegosaurus, brontosaurus, T-Rex and Velociraptor.
Did someone discover a bunch of new species?
My kids are spouting out dino names that I've never heard of.

Need to increase the size of protected classes and victimhood. And Climate change and Trump have something to do with the murder of these poor innocent dinosaurs that built America.

Dinosaurs are good entertainment and sell a lot of toys, books and movies. Whether all of these species actually existed at some point is questionable.

Nope, nope. Don't get the Trans-asaurus movement started.

My kid tried to explain to me what a carnotaurus was about a year ago. He was 5 and I thought he was mispronouncing something made up. He even said it was a T-Rex with horns. I agree there have been a shitload of new ones recently.

It's gotten ridiculous. I doubt they even have more than a bone or 2 from any of these. They then give them a name and let some artist go to town on making it look like some cool new dinosaur with a wild body shape.

There is a pretty big beef in my professional circle as to whether apatosaurus, brachiosaurus and brontosaurus are all one dino. My flatmate, Archibald, claims that apatosaurus is just a brontosaurus. Kind of a Chris Gaines situation. But I believe that the purpose of science is to serve mankind. Archie, however, seems to regard science as some kind of dodge or hustle. His theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, his methods are sloppy, and his conclusions are highly questionable. He is a poor scientist.

That Asian dude on Jurassic Park keeps inventing new ones every time they release a new movie.

He needs to stop.

When you take the number of different species currently on earth and extrapolate that over hundreds of millions of years I don't think it's that farfetched.

Everyone knows that dinosaurs aren’t real and the “fossils” were placed as a test by the devil.

Whatever you do, don't goole the dinosaur with 500 teeth.
