No...much cheaper with great police and streets.

I am also 5-15 minutes away from world class music, bars, restaurants, museums, zoo, aquarium, sporting events, concerts, etc.

How about you?

That zoo isn’t world class. I mean it’s popular and they have events there. Never heard it described as world class before. The aquarium is pretty solid. I’ve never bought of it as world class.

Unsure if you’re right about the museums. I assume you claim the WW2 museum is world class. Which others are?

Agree with you on the music, bars and restaurants.

Don't think he was calling the zoo world class

I don’t think he was calling either world class, but the zoo is better than the aquarium by a decent margin.

World class for a very small city: restaurants, bars, and live music. WWII would fit the bill too.

World class food and music festivals and mardi gras too...all in a small city.

Also world class sporting events.

I would call our architecture world class too, but I love that kind of thing.

I don't think anyone really argues that. It is just when you get to the fact that nothing is done about crime or drainage it completely diminishes those great aspects

I’m in the Quarter and even here there have been
anti-Teedy initiative signs for over a year. Between trying to Disneyify the FQ and put city hall in municipal auditorium a lot of residents have gotten upset.

Unfortunately most of my neighbors are part time residents who aren’t even registered to vote here.

NOMA is a legit museum but maybe not for much longer if certain people get their way and change the makeup of the staff and the works themselves.

It would be tragic if some get their way.

Just move to “the parish” real winners down there.

But the people of Violet told me the new container port was gonna ruin it, that we couldn’t drive with all the trucks on the road

If y’all aren’t following it’s funny. They’re worried about relocating an elementary school because it’s mostly black, even though it’s going to move maybe a minute or two away via driving. They think it will destroy St Bernard when maybe less than 10% of the parish population will be really affected
