my Bible doesn’t say ‘immediately’ so maybe you’re adding words
Are you reading it in the language in which it was originally written? My hunch is that you’re reading an English translation. Am I right?
Of course I’ve already mentioned that I was speaking about the original Hebrew meaning of the passage in question, and yet you’ve chosen to ignore that. I wonder why (That’s rhetorical by the way. I know why).

Where do you find these women?
None of my friends have nagging wives, and I've never had a nagging wife.
I read the posts about women and wives on this forum and I think I must be an outlier, or just greatly blessed.
Probably both, tbh.

Loved reading this, but if my wife did anything on that list…I’d suspect I’m being poisoned. Yeah, I wish the nagging would end tho.

Studying for your Bar Mitzvah?
I looked it up - original Biblical Hebrew phrasing translates as ‘dying you shall die’

Eve
God: You and Eve can enjoy everything in this garden. You can swim in the pristine waters of its lakes and streams. You can sit in the shade of the fruit trees and eat to your hearts content. You can enjoy the constant perfect temperatures where it’s neither too hot nor too cold. Your garden’s will grow perfect crops where there will never be any weeds or pests. The animals will be for your enjoyment and companionship and they will never be hostile to you.
You can sleep, play and enjoy each other’s company and you will never get sick or tired.
The only thing I require is that you two never eat of the fruit of this one tree.
Eve: put I really think I want that fruit!

Since Biblical times.
Proverbs 27:15
A continual dripping on a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.
Proverbs 21:9
It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop than with a brawling woman in a large house.
