Coming up on my local news "puppies found in a garbage bag on the side of the road". Guess I will tune in to see "who let the dogs out".

Why is this on the news?

Pets and animals in general have their lives more valued then humans at times. I am one that loves animals and 1000% against shite like this.

It probably to bring awareness or turn in the douchebag that did that.

I grew up on a farm. We had folks throw dogs and cats out all the time. Not to mention starving stray dogs attacking livestock because their owners were trash and wouldn't take care of them, but that's not news.

Dogs have become much more newsworthy since Alabama football became prominent again...odd correlation

Who watches the news? There are a million things I'd rather do than support an industry that makes a living selling doom and gloom. With so much doom and gloom on the news, you should be happy they have some happy stories about animals

The annual "dog on a surfboard" story makes me smile. Two puppies in a sack doesn't really brighten my day.

This would be news because it's animal cruelty and it's against the law.

And a more general statement dogs>most people.

My grandad routinely put puppies and kittens in garbage bags and then threw them in a pond.

He lacked what you'd call the empathy.

I think that little story explains quite a bit, Pal. I will not longer mock you...for a while anyway.

This was 40 years ago. The world was a different place. Rural Louisiana. Cats and dogs got pregnant.

He controlled the pet population.

It was not something I will eve forget though. It was a terrible thing and I don't understand how he had no problem with it

I like animals but dog parents are the worse. No, I do not want to see pictures of your lab. I know what a lab looks like.

God loves animals too. Do you think Gramps had to answer for his actions in the next world?

Because anyone that would stuff puppies in a garbage bag and throw them onto the side of the road is a sick phucker and deserves to have their finger nails pulled off one at a time

This is so true and some people just can't seem to grasp this. Nor can they grasp the difference in thinking between the city and the country.

Sure doesn't stop a lot of people from being judgemental.

I despise dog dumpers - too lazy to take care of their own problem so they dump their dogs on you.
