Name a country that’s better.

2001. Financially and morally bankrupted America. Exactly what the cavemen that attacked wanted.

The mid 80s were likely the best of America, but the decline likely started back in the 50s or 60s. The 24 hours news cycle was a terrible thing and that has morphed into social media and a lot of hate. It ruined journalism too.

i used to laugh and make fun of people who said this, but i have come to accept that it is true.

womens suffrage is when this country started going down hill.

women voting on emotions and feelings over logic and common sense is why we are where we are today.

LBJ and his damned "great society" put a long acting poison in this country. The effects get worse by the day

This.

FDR got things rolling while LBJ kicked it into overdrive.

When most of them were married it didn't have as big of an effect. Now that so many are single sluts with zero guidance...

Why are you so salty? More like why are you in denial? This country has severe issues and you know it. I love America, this is my home, I want to see our country succeed as much as anyone. But when you take a look around, you can see this country is not what it once was. I think conversations like this can be educational, and lead to conversations where people can talk about how our country can get back to being great again.

When Johnny Carson retired….

Actually kind of serious about this. Everyone ended their day the same way until May 1992. From that point on, Americans started having less and less shared experiences.

Post Revolutionary War when the politicians ignored the Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal and allowed slavery to continue under the newly created nation.

Then 1913 when the Federal Reserve central bank was adopted.

Early 1900s, with the Industrial Revolution, causing family members to move from homesteads to cities to earn greater wages, and the institution of the Federal Reserve.
