How much time do you guys lets these little kids spend in front of a screen? I have a 3 year old and 18 month old and they don't know how to use our phones or watch this stuff not do they have any desire to do so.

so what do they do exactly if you and the wife want a little downtime after dinner to relax on the porch for a few uninterrupted moments?

or are you one of those organic food and i-dedicate-100%-of-my-free-time-to-my-kids parents?

I was thinking the same thing. My 4 year old can't touch our iPads or phones. Guess we are bad parents.

Tons of kids YouTube videos out there have views in the millions upon millions.

Kids probably just sit there and watch the same thing over and over again.

Knowing the type of NSFW stuff I find on youtube via recommended videos, I probably wouldn't let my toddlers control youtube.

My 2 year old scrolls through YouTube, will pick the ones she likes and then picks a new video if ads come up.

i wont lie, sometimes we are just tired and want to watch a show so we put the little one on the floor with his blanket, juice, cup with a few cheetoes and ipad and we watch a show while he's happy as a damn clam watching pigs holding iphones on buses.

It's actually used sparingly in situations where you really need them to sit still for a while (dr.office,dmv,etc.)

My 19 month old is asleep by 7:00 and my almost 3 years old is asleep in bed by 8. I don't have a problem finding downtown with my wife. Hence the third kid due in September.

We are nowhere near organic parents, we just find ways for our kids to entertain themselves like reading books and playing with trains. They are pretty happy kids.

Not saying you do this and not intended at you but the hardest things in parenting is not giving in and being consistent. Handing them the phone/tv is the easy way out. I understand it, get why parents do it, and don't judge but I would feel selfish if I did that.
