Why are you taking leave without pay rather than PTO for your wife?

In the modern economy, we're expected to be professionals. That means organizing our life and work.

If a guy cant utilize his leave correctly, you hired poorly. Its up to him to deal with his life.

That is irrelevant to the point about the cost of living being exponentially higher than it once was.

You keep dodging that question.

I'm not taking parenting advice from Elon Musk. Maybe do some Googling about his progeny.

I'm going to utilize personal leave, like grownups do.

You know, organize my time and leave to where I have a buffer for times like this.

No, I dont need paternal leave.

No one does. Use your personal leave time you always have had. No new laws or mandates required.

But you dont want to have to do that..

Ill be the first to say it, moms should have the most weighted opinion on this topic. Only they know what they need and how much from the baby's daddy.

I find it very concerning how supporting familial units is now considered a burden or progressive word salad or DEI or whatever descriptors have been used in this thread.

We love to talk about cultural rot. Maybe start here.

Its literally what I did. Twice.

And no where have I mentioned new laws or mandates. Not a single time.

Maybe, just maybe read the thread.
