I don't max bench because I'm not in high school anymore.

250 is pretty weak for someone that weighs that much

Anybody that works out has a very good idea what their single rep max would be

Maybe so, I've only been back in it less than 3.5 mos
Posted on 11/12/14 at 6:14 pm to Chad504boy
Mine is definitely less than 1

I'm just going to assume you got it backwards

We don't do benchpress in crossfit because it's bad for your joints and your could pull a muscle locking out your elbows

I only deadlift.
Some push-ups.

Really sad because my bench max 6 yrs ago when I was at 175 was 250.

Lotta honest answers coming your way.
Anywho, 425/196 (2.17)
ETA: Just kidding. I would die if I tried to lift that off the bench. Just had a hernia repaired for the second time, so my maxing days are over. Last shot was 315 in 2006 (weighed about 180 at the time). I can still rep 225, and that's about as high as I'll go for the rest of my life.

That's solid there. I want to get 315 off my chest once before I get too old and have no shoulder left
