I enjoy jerky, but am amazed how much dried beef actually costs

On the way to Branson. They have a smokehouse in the middle of nowhere. I believe it is called Courseys. Best beef jerky you will ever have. Also the smoked cheese and ham is great

Found out the other day Rouses has their own brand of Jerky. Had like 10 different flavors. I went with the traditional and the Mango Habanero. Was some of the best I've ever had. Better than Bucees and my own homemade.

I like Buccee beef jerky but no way is it the best. Sometimes it is too tough and it doesn’t have a whole lot of flavor

Found a stop between Phoenix and Vegas that had an amazing assortment. I like hot jerky so I bought the "colon cleaner" flavor. Too hot even for me. Saving a bag for Doc for my next colonoscopy procedure

That is because they pay for an 10 lb. piece of beef and end up with 4 lbs. of actual jerky.
