Just learned this but King Tutankhamun was buried in 1323 BC with an iron dagger crafted directly from a fallen extraterrestrial meteorite centuries before Ancient Egypt developed the technology to smelt iron ore.

Jesus Christ lived, and after he died, his followers continued to spread his message despite the danger

Why would they do that?

The pope once had the corpse of a former pope dug up and put on trial. The corpse, offering a poor defense, was found guilty and tossed into the river.

The crackdown against the Italian mafia was an effort by the whitebreads and the Irish mob who had insiders in the federal agencies and law enforcement to oust the Italians from the high ranking places and influence they had reached after government concessions to the mafia were granted in exchange for the mafia facilitating the war effort and protecting the harbors and ship builders here, as well as in Europe to aid the invasion. Traditional honkeys couldn't have Italians influencing things. And so, for 50 years, the federal government disassembled the Italian mafia. The Irish mob was unable to hold onto power and permitted the infestation of russian and asian organized crime, as well as, how should I say this; elements from the Levant. And now, Vegas blows and you can't even buy decent fentanyl in the Quarter on a work trip anymore. At least the spaghetti benders aren't jacking up construction costs. Well done, feds.

Tenochitlan, the Aztec capital, was one of the largest cities in the world at the time of the Spanish conquest. It had stone houses, canals and aqueducts.

Pepsi once had the 6th largest military navy in the world. Russia couldn't cover the money they owed them, so they traded them 17 submarines, a frigate, a cruiser, and a destroyer for a trade deal.

In 1661 Charles II had Oliver Cromwell’s body disinterred from Cromwell’s crypt in Westminster and put on trial for regicide & treason. Cromwell had died from natural causes in 1658. Cromwell was found guilty and his corpse was dragged to its “execution” by beheading.

The head was stuck on a pike outside of Westminster and left there for decades.

My fun fact (sorry if it’s already been covered):

Wilmer McLean was a Virginia resident whose property bookended the American Civil War. The first major battle (First Battle of Bull Run) took place on his property in Manassas in 1861, and Robert E. Lee's surrender to Ulysses S. Grant occurred in the parlor of his new home in Appomattox in 1865.

McLean moved west to avoid the conflict after 1861 but ironically it found him.

Afterwards McLean famously noted that the conflict started in his front yard and finished in his front parlor.
