Why? Because you'll end up judging yourself?

I’m terrible with names also.
I’m bad about procrastinating, gotten worse since I retired. So easy to put things off until later.
My wife is too trusting, believes any kinda stupid shite anybody tells her.

Crippling mental illness that I have only gotten a hold of in the last year or so.

I never finished college, didn't date until I met my wife, worked jobs that I could "handle" that were below my ability, never believed in myself, and had vices that were used as a temporary sanity grab in the maelstrom of hell that was my mind.

Will always be a struggle, but now I don't smoke cigs, got the drinking under control, I take my meds and smoke a little grass here and there. I took up meditation. I try to discover more about myself and the human condition as much as possible and I exercise more.

Congratulations to you, sir, for recognizing a problem and taking action to correct it. Props to you for that and good luck with the future!

Thanks - the wife always looks at me funny when I tell her she and the kids saved my life, but it is true. Would have never had the motivation to fix things if they weren't around for me to have something worth hanging around for.

You should atttempt to abstain from double negatives when there are other viable choices.
