Seems like over the past year I'm hearing more people out there at night revving engines with the loud exhausts.

Is this some sort of street racing group in BR coordinating all this shite? Don't they get tired of it after a few trips and/or have jobs to get to in the morning?

I think they congregate somewhere on Siegen (Twin Peaks area?) and go from there tearing-up every adjoining street in the city. Every. Single. Night.

In the morning, you see so many donut marks at every intersection. Trashy.

I would vote for any mayoral or sheriff candidate - regardless of the party - who made shutting this crap down their #1 priority.

They have to be violating a noise ordinance or something. Or just bust them for speeding until they realize they need to take their party back up to NBR.

It should be easy pickins for the police to catch this trash.

Could literally have 2 cops parked on Seigen or Airline with a sole purpose of stopping these cars and would more than pay for their payroll in ticket fines.

They're all over Houston too most nights of the week now. I assume it's some kind of Dukes of Hazzard shite to keep cops busy, but it's probably not Uncle Jesse's shine they're hauling.

I’m noticing more and more burn out donuts in the intersections in BR.

Why is this all of the sudden a topic for discussion on here when drag racing has been occurring for years now.

I remember Florida Blvd between Flannery and Denham Springs was notorious for drag racing in the late 90’s. They even had a burger joint on the corner of Florida and Flannery that had car shows.

Screw all that. I'm happy when I get 45k out of a 40k rated tire these days

It's trashy to see, annoying to hear, dangerous for my family to drive around, and has gotten much worse recently. That's why.

Nah. It’s been around for decades. Nothing new. Maybe with social media it’s gotten more attention but it’s not something that just started a couple of years ago.

I didnt say it started recently. I said it has gotten much worse recently.

It's literally every night, all night. Never has been this bad before.

I'll add the amount of "boom boom" coming from vehicles is making a comeback. I can only imagine the amount of rat nest wiring that those Biden bucks funded.
