Hornets in a plane would be terrifying

Can someone tell me if the BTR airport can handle these planes?

Air Force One landed at BTR

That's one down. Although, that's not your usual stock 747 without all the cool shite AF1 has.
747 I posted is the newer and longer, stretched version.

BTR couldn't handle any of those. The biggest planes in recent memory at BTR are a C17 when the Air Force Academy came for a weekend baseball series and a 767 LSU football charter.

Googling after Boat's post tho.
But then again, the one I posted is the newest 747.
What about MSY?

Yes, AF1 can land and takeoff at BTR since it is specially modified. BTR couldnt handle a standard 747-800 like the one in you post.
MSY can handle standard 747s. The Concorde even flew in and out of MSY once. Not sure if MSY could handle the A380.

I think MSY can handle the a380 based on runway length and width but I'm not sure if the actual surface can handle the weight.

Picking up Ben Simmons. He's cutting short his college career and heading to the NBA.

MSY doesn't have multi level jetways needed for a passenger A380. I don't think there will be freighter versions of that airframe for a long time, if ever. I know that FedEx considered a freighter version for a while but canceled their orders. MEM and their major European hubs are all supposedly adequate for the A380.
Runway length is a little over 10,000 feet at MSY, a little over 7,500 feet at BTR.....so runway length is adequate for a 747-400 with a typical passenger configuration and load (6500ft to 7200 ft min).
A max loaded and fully fueled 747-8 freighter can take over 10,000 feet to take off. I can't envision a scenario when a jumbo other than Air Force One would ever land at either MSY or BTR, much less regularly scheduled passenger service or a 747-8 freighter at max takeoff weight.
The era of the Jumbo is behind us anyways. I'd like to see Boeing 787 service from MSY to a European hub one day soon. I think the 747-8 has a long life ahead of it as a freighter. Not sure about the A380's future. I don't think Airbus had any orders this year for it.

This is how you get a bunch of folks off an A380 fast.

Damn....I've never actually seen them with three jetway links. Usually they have just one for each deck at CDG or SFO.
Unfortunately for me, Delta doesn't have an A380 or a new 747-8. I don't think they'll ever get one of the new generation jumbos. Their codeshares seem to use smaller twin jets on most of their transatlantic routes too.

That's at Sydney, I think.
I've only gone JFK-FRA on the A380, there were only two jetways at each of those airports.
