Lax to honalulu, when we started our descent hit several patches of turbulence that made the plane jerk up and down repeatedly, seems like it was at least several hundred feet. Started to tilt to the left and thought for sure I was going to be dead. Spilled drinks all over wife and I that they hadn't picked up yet.
First time legitimately scared for my life

Mine was on a red-eye Turkish Air Airbus A340-300 from Newark to Istanbul.
We had a full flight of burka wearing women who all smelled like they hadn't showered in a week. One hour in and the A/C in the cabin stopped working. Two hours in and the Turkish foreign exchange student, freaking fugly and wreaking of stench, wants my to try to teach her how to play Sudoku. In hour 4 the airplane's cabin temp had to be around 85 and we hit some pretty bad turbulence over the Atlantic. There must have been at least 10-15 people vomit including the student sitting next to me. The vomit smell filled the air and began to mix with the warm stink of bad BO. Hour 5 my onboard entertainment set went out, so the crew moved me to the only seat that was available. Happy to be moving away from the foreign exchange student, my feelings quickly changed to depression when I realized that my seat was now between two overweight elderly Turkish women who quickly began using my lap as knitting work bench. The rest of the flight was spent trying to sleep but it was just impossible with the heat, smell, and getting my skinny arse sandwiched between two heifers.

Houston to Lafayette. Storming so bad, we flew to BR and had to be shuttled to Lafayette in mini vans packed with fatties.
One time, flew into Baltimore at midnight and my buddy showed up 2 hours late to pick me up. Scariest/darkest night of my life.

I had the aisle seat on a flight from Baton Rouge to Chicago, two women sitting next to me. As soon as the plane started taxiing the one in the middle seat next to me reached for the barf bag and apologized for the fact that she always got air sick. Her friend told her she shouldn't have eaten the tacos before she got on the plane. Not another vacant seat anywhere and that bitch puked her guts out for the entire two-hour flight.

Flight from Atlanta to Portland, OR. Sitting next to a couple with a baby who had its dirty diaper changed on the tray table right next to me. The baby was not a happy flyer. The air didn't work on the flight so it was about 5 degrees shy of hell. To top it all off, the Clampett family was sitting behind me. Mowmow couldn't get her oxygen tank stowed, which held up the flight and the granddaughter screamed out to PawPaw every time there was the slightest noise, turbulence, or some kind of scenery.

on a trip with a family friend in his Bonanaza. I'm in the copilot seat (I have no pilot training, I'm just sitting there.) I glance over and he's doubled over, looks like he's passed out or something. He was only looking at a chart he had spread out on the floor at his feet, but for about 30 seconds, my life was flashing before my eyes

That is my biggest flight concern, getting sick.
Worst experience. Delay in ATL had me departing 5 1/2 hours late for Vegas (conferences). Arrived 2:30am local time and still had to get to hotel and check-in. Shirts stolen from luggage (yes, literally lost my shirt(s)), had to wake up 2 hours later for conference call back in home time zone and an hour after that the conferences started in Vegas. Still hate USAir for that.

Bent the prop on a mooney doing touch and gos (I wasn't the pilot) cleared the pines by a gnat's arse.
Stalled out a overloaded 150 in bad weather. People on the ground were running. Low-time pilot, not me.
Shoulda crashed both times, really.

BTR to Guam was over 21 hours on 3 flights each way. That was rough in coach.
Your landing on 2 of 3 wheels wasn't the worst?

Malaysia Air Flight 370 from Kuala Lumpur to Bieging. Was supposed to be a few hours and we still haven't landed. It's been months now. Thinking about asking the flight attendants what is going on, but don't want to be to pushy.

One time we couldn't take our private jet to the Hampton's and had to ride first class.
It was awful.

Scheduled to fly Delta from Monroe to Birmingham to Atlanta to Detroit to Grand Rapids. Departure: 6:00 AM on a Sunday. Made it to B'ham where plane encountered throttle problems. Mechanics couldn't fix it - no spare plane available. All passengers rerouted on other airlines. Wound up in Memphis where I boarded a McDonnell Douglas 88 (engines mounted on both sides of tail fin). Was given a seat in the rear row. Takeoff was horrid with engine noise and extreme vibration - flight and landing weren't much better. Detroit airport was a cluster due to delays. Had to sit on the floor for 2 hours waiting for delayed final jump to Grand Rapids. Finally arrived in GR about 10:00 PM totally exhausted.

The roundtrip from Birmingham to Honolulu. The flights out themselves weren't bad,but the second leg was 8.5 hours from Houston to Honolulu. I've never been on a plane longer than about 3 hours before that one, and it got really uncomfortable about 5 hours in. But with the excitement of it being the trip to the vacation made up for it, along with the bar in the airport once we landed. My wife got some fruity concoction, and I had a Makers on the rocks. We were only in there to kill time so the baggage could be unloaded, and only had the one drink. We finished up and paid and walked down to baggage claim and the conveyor was not turning and someone had sat our two bags off to the side. They got that plane unloaded fast.
But it was the combination of being awake all day and flying overnight on the way home that got me. We got drunk on the beach our next to last day and got sunburns. The whole next day was a travel disaster. We could have checked our bags at the hotel, but since the last leg from Houston to Birmingham was a connector and not operated by Continental, they couldn't check it all the way home, which meant we'd either have to claim it and recheck it on our one hour layover at LAX, or on our one hour layover in Houston. Checkout at the resort was around noon and our flight wasn't leaving until almost 9 that night. So we rented a car rather than have to come back to the hotel to get the bags. We drove all over the island seeing different things, and were pretty tired that night. Ate dinner at the airport, and boarded the 5.5 hour flight. I couldn't sleep. Had breakfast at LAX and got on the next flight, and I hadn't slept in over 30 hours. The flight to Houston wasn't that long. Maybe 3.5-4 hours, I honestly can't remember. But I was feeling sick to my stomach, felt feverish, and almost shite myself on the plane waiting to exit. I felt like I was going to die in the Houston airport bathroom, and I'm sure the smell is still lingering there today, over 7 years later. What came out of me was not human. We finally got back home late that afternoon and I was over 38 hours without sleep. I crashed around 4 PM and slept until 7 the next day and had to get up and go to work.

Flight to Dulles from the islands. This a-hole has his four kids and ignores them the whole flight while they raise hell.
About a half hour out the 5 year old shits himself. You can smell it well back into the plane yet the father does nothing. As we approach the air is rough and the teenager starts screaming over and over into the 5 year olds ear. "We're all going to crash and die". The 5 year old reacts by screaming during the entire landing.
I could not get off of that plane quickly enough.
