Got one that’s more of a “you’re a dumbarse” than worst.
Family friends of ours, solid couple with a few kids. Their families are all close. Well we start noticing that only one spouse would come to events. Didn’t think anything of it because they have a few kids, some who are young. Figured one parent stayed at home to watch them. Turns out the husband was caught watching and communicating with some ladies online. Not sure if with onlyfans girls or what but clearly wife is pissed.
It gets better. The way it got out is because of credit card records. He was using his company card. The best part- he works for his father in laws company.

Oh man I’ve heard a real bad one from some of the older guys at work. Back in the day, a guy at my company married a woman that also worked at the company. They both worked shift work. Not only was she sleeping with multiple of their coworkers, but some of the guys would take off of work, forcing the husband to cover their shift on overtime, while they were banging his wife. Doesn’t get much worse than having to work overtime for a guy that took off work to sleep with your wife

I don’t endorse banging hookers. I do think a dude who is in a sexless marriage and doesn’t want to blow up his family and hurt his kids is in a damned tough position.
I know some bubbas that have just toughed it out for their kids sake. These boys tried everything with the wife (counseling, romance, you name it) but got nowhere. So they live without sex for the sake of their family.
So if the choice is trying to live without a basic human need and destroying your kids (understanding that may happen anyway), I’m not sure I’m ready to judge those who seek professional help.

Where did I make that argument? Saying I'd hate to get burned to death doesn't mean it would be fun to drown.
I'll get downvotes for this but whatever, I just don't agree or think that a bad marriage suddenly makes banging hookers a good idea. I don't think banging hookers is a good idea in general, but that's just me.

It's a crap position, no doubt and I'm not insinuating that any of that is easy to navigate. I'm just saying that if the marriage is sexless and on the rocks, the kids can feel the tension anyway. Divorce is really hard on families but so is living in an unhealthy home too. I agree it does suck, I just think banging hookers adds to the problems, it doesn't take any away.

This one is actually pretty funny. I have a buddy that used to work at a church back in the day and they had this older man that was the janitor, let's just call him Bill. Everyone universally liked the guy as he was just one of those people you felt like you've known for years. Super friendly, caring, funny. He also pretty much never missed work unless he was really sick.
Well, one day my buddy goes into work and Bill isn't there. My friend, let's just call him Joe, asks the other employees where Bill was and they all kinda looked away like they didn't want to answer. One of them finally said "Bill is in the hospital." Joe heads to the hospital to check on Bill and when he walks in, Bill is in a straight Forrest Gump position next to Lt Dan with bandages all over his arse cheeks.
Joe asks Bill what happened and he said, "Well Joe, you see I was running around a bit on my wife and she found out. I came home and she was waiting on the other side of the door for me with my shotgun. I turned and ran when I heard her pump the action and then I felt the pain. She filled my arse up with birdshot Joe! I can't be mad at her though, I think i'd have shot me too."
He healed up from the wounds and went back home. They apparently stayed together.

All of it was awful. That family was dysfunctional to the max. Finances were a mess. They were living well above their means. I think his whole thing was an escape from his awful reality. The other option was divorce and bankruptcy (again, if that's possible). Those little girls deserved better.

Back in the 80's I was stationed at Pearl. USS (Submarine) got underway for a WestPac. Had a significant equipment related casualty onboard and returned to port 2 days later. UNANNOUNCED. Half the crew found their wives at the club with other dudes. Lost of divorces ensued. Bitches couldn't wait more than 2 days. LOL

About 25 years ago I had a buddy who was getting married - our group of friends did stuff together and all went to the wedding. They were moving across the country right after.
The surprise was that he was banging some co-worker the whole time and none of us knew.
They divorced after three months and then he married the co-worker. None of us have talked to him in a very long time.

Know a girl... who was dating a guy. All the while the guy she was dating was sleeping with her own mother.. who was married (to her dad). And she still lived with them.
