A former coworker approached me for this when we worked together. I knew her kids and I said I would buy some from her daughter but her daughter had to contact me directly. That’s my personal approach. I’ll buy shite from your kid but your kid has to put in the effort to make the sale, not you.

The parents do all of this fundraising stuff now. Not a day goes by that some travel ball mom doesn’t post one of those “buy a day of the month” fundraising calendars on Facebook.

Have an office rule out into affect that states no one will ask any other co-worker to donate or buy any kind of products in the work place.

That usually stops it

get a box of the peanut butter ones from each and enjoy

to end the constant fund raising from colleagues that sometimes develops I found that responding “I will give to little Johnny's ball team whatever you will give to my cause” works. The solicitors never want to reach in their pocket.
