The median price in DFW is $400k, that's insane.

Actually none of us are at this point, youngest Millennials are now around 25.

How about the "Coming soon" realtor signs?

I rode past a for sale sign this morning that said “Too Late” and I thought that was pretty funny.

Marketing for the selling agent.

Exactly. Certain agents know neighborhoods and sell them well. One that we used liked the neighborhood my first home in Houston was in because when buyers couldn't afford where they wanted to be, she could sell them very similar houses in our 'hood for significantly less. (Distance was the multiplier closer in.)

Some MLS will let you do that. I’m not a fan of it, as a realtor you want homes people can schedule to see when they first notice it’s available.

I know the idea is to build interest in it, but I don’t think it really does in the market condition we have had for the last few years

Based on this statement, I'd say it's clearly not aimed at your demographic.

We have one we have utilized here before, we truthfully ended up doing the majority of the work once we arrived to the area though, and ultimately did everything to find our house, see it initially, and just asked her to submit the offer.

If seller wasn’t paying her fee I’d probably be pissed

Same as putting a ring on your bitch. Temporarily, it's yours but everything has a price.

Guess you don’t have to do much marketing working the drive thru window
