Mmmmm I think you have a stereotype in your head. Kids around me are buying million dollar stuff. But maybe I am guilty of stereotypes thinking you are upmarket

Maybe I'm still a kid relative to an old hippy dippy.

Or maybe you don't actually know "kids" buying million dollar homes. Statistically aren't millennials deadbeats with no money, assets or future? And most of them aren't even kids.

You might have a few tech nerds buying million dollar homes but the average person 45 and below isnt sniffing anywhere close to that.

Million dollar homes are also few and far between

I'm only letting you say my real legal name in here because it's so late. I feel very vulnerable by it though.

I guess it depends on where you live. In Dallas, plenty of kids are buying million dollar houses. I don't know what their professions are but I see them outside with their only fans wife and their perfect 2.3 kids playing on the manicured lawn.

Your anecdotal 1 person you see isnt the norm. Million dollar homes represent less than 10% of the homes on the market. The buyers of these being 'kids' is even less.

While a home may be under contract the deal isn’t done until the underwriting is finished and the check is cut.

In Dallas it's a much higher percentage. In most cities it is a high percentage. But I agree, my observations are a small sample.

No, 2% in DFW. I live in Dallas. I bet 20,000 of those houses are around me. New build on my street, 3-2 are going at 1.7

I wish it wasn't true cuz I'm paying the property taxes on these values. My shack I paid 200k for is now valued by the county at 700k.

Why put a sign up at all? Nobody drives around looking for houses for sale. So yea, marketing. Neighbor may be thinking about selling.

I found my current, and previous house by just driving around in areas I was interested in.
